Surgical Skills Workshop

The surgical skills workshops are an opportunity for junior doctors, surgical trainees, registrars and residents to focus on core surgical skills in an interactive setting with direct teaching and supervision from surgeons.

This year the Informed Consent component will be held separately on the Friday evening prior to the workshop. Two workshops will be held this year.

USANZ ASM 2017 Capitalising on our Strength

USANZ will hold its 70th Annual Scientific Meeting, and celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Society in our nation's capital city. The 2017 USANZ ASM will be held in Canberra from 24 to 27 February. Registrations are open with early bird registrations closing on 16 February.

Foundation Skills for Surgical Educators

A Fellow is considered active if they are currently involved in any aspect of surgical activity that involves the use of surgical skills or knowledge gained through their surgical training. This extends to and is not exclusive of medico-legal work, research or supervision of Trainees and International Medical Graduates (IMGs).
