Find a surgeon

The Find a Surgeon directory is a listing of active Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons who meet the requirements of the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and have opted to be on the list. This list excludes retired or inactive Fellows.

 

How to obtain reaccreditation

To maintain ongoing accreditation status, education providers will be contacted by the College and requested to submit evidence of ongoing quality assurance as follows:

  • Changes, which affect the learning outcomes of accredited educational activities
  • Latest activity program/schedule
  • Current promotional material i.e. flyer, brochure, link to website
  • Copy of current course certificate
  • Changes to any regulatory requirements
  • Sample of evaluation tool
  • Summary of course evaluations for the last two courses
  • Changes to collaboration, agreements and sponsorships

How to apply for reaccreditation:

Fees

No fees apply for reaccreditation.

Approval process

All applications will be reviewed by the Accreditation Review Panel to ensure that all courses/activities meet the required educational standards and criteria, and to verify that the teaching methods, learning aims and outcomes are sound. All accreditation approvals are ratified by the College Education Board.

The College aims to complete course/activity accreditation approvals within eight weeks. Please note, if your application is incomplete i.e. missing the requested supporting documentation, this will delay the approval turnaround time.
