CPD Supervisors
All Fellows in any form of practice, both operative and non-operative, are required to comply with the requirements of the RACS CPD Program or an equivalent program approved by the Professional Standards and Advocacy Committee.
RACS CPD program is aligned with the registration standards set by the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) and Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
Continuing Professional Development
Supervisors will automatically receive 15 CPD points annually under the category of Performance Review of Others.
Supervisors can apply for additional CPD points under the category of Education Activities for:
teaching trainees/undergraduates (capped at 20 CPD points).
developing their own skills as educators and trainers by completing courses listed in RACS Professional Development for Supervisors.
