Dr Fiona Hill

Overview

Fiona in an Otolarynogology, Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) Consultant in Victoria, Australia. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.

Fiona has worked as a doctor for 11 years. She graduated from medical school with honours in 2006, topping her class in multiple fields. She did a research thesis during medical school for which she achieved 1st class honours and was a Finalist for Young Scientific Achiever in the Australian of the Year awards. She worked at Royal Melbourne Hospital as a junior doctor and then General Surgeon before specialising in Otolaryngology. She has spent last five years working in the field of Otolaryngology and is passionate about attention to detail, communication and patient centred care.

After completing her surgical training in Australia, Fiona did advanced fellowship training in London's leading hospitals, including Evelina Children's Hospital and Guys an St Thomas Trust. She is one of the few surgeons in Australia with experience in all forms of surgical hearing restoration and implantable hearing devices. She has interests in paediatric surgery, hearing restoration, cochlear implants, nasal surgery and all forms of ear disease.

Fiona presently holds a public position at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and The Alfred. She has private rooms at Melbourne ENT Group in Richmond and South East ENT in Berwick.
