Dr Pamela 'Pam' Boekel
Overview
My name is Dr Pam Boekel and I’m an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon; specialising in all shoulder and elbow conditions, as well as general orthopaedic trauma.
After finishing medical school at Monash University in 2009, I completed my Orthopaedic Training in Victoria at the start of 2022. I then completed Upper Limb subspecialty fellowships in Townsville, North Queensland, and I also did the prestigious Wrightington Upper Limb Fellowship in the United Kingdom.
Aside from my clinical work, I have a passion for teaching and have an appointment with Deakin University. I also have a keen interest in clinical research and have won awards for my research both locally and internationally.
I practice at Northern Health and Grampians Health in the public sector; and Epworth and St Vincent's Private in the private sector.
