Mr Yiu Ming Ho
Overview
Mr. Ming Ho completed general surgical training in Newcastle and obtained the fellowship of the College of Surgeons in Australia (FRACS). He was in the UK to further his training in coloproctology in 2017 and obtained his membership of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) and the fellowship of the College of Surgeons (FRCSEd). He is currently appointed colorectal and general surgeon in Rockhampton Base Hospital. He is proficient in a variety of surgeries including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel resection, and hernia repair; breast surgeries; haemorrhoids and skin surgeries.
He is accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and the Joint Advisory Group on gastrointestinal endoscopy of the UK (JAG) to perform colonoscopy and gastroscopy. He was the senior lecturer of the school of medicine at the University of Queensland and Griffith University. He is also involved in teaching surgical trainees and has spoken at various surgical conferences. He is happy to tailor talks to the individual interests of your practice.
