Mr Kareem Marwan

Overview

Kareem Marwan is an established consultant General surgeon with subspecialty in Colorectal (lower gastrointestinal) surgery. His
practice is minimally invasive with Robotic or Laparoscopic Surgery offered routinely. He also performs advanced lower GI endoscopic surgery. Dr Marwan obtained his surgical fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2012, after training at St Vincent’s Hospital, the Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. He subsequently undertook a training fellowship in the subspecialty of Colorectal surgery in Colchester, UK. Dr Marwan has a public appointment in Eastern Health Hospitals and a specialist surgical practice in Melbourne eastern suburbs' private hospitals and the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
