Mr Nandakumaran 'Nanda' Kandamany

Overview

Mr Kandamany is one of a handful of surgeons in Australia - and the only plastic surgeon in Tasmania - to be dual qualified in Plastic Surgery, having earned Fellowship of both the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as well as its UK counterpart. He is an AHPRA Specialist Plastic Surgeon and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He is a full member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the British Association of Plastic Surgeons and the Australian and New Zealand Burns Association.

Mr Kandamany is experienced in the full range of plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, and leads both the Breast Reconstruction and Burns Laser service at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

His interests include skin cancer, cosmetic surgery, all breast surgery including complex microsurgical reconstruction (congenital and post cancer), hand surgery (elective and trauma), burns, head and neck surgery and laser surgery.
