Mr Philip Worley

Overview

 Dr. Phil Worley is a South Australian General Surgeon with special interests in general, laparoscopic and hernia surgery in particular.

His practice also covers a broad range of conditions relating to colorectal, endocrine, hepato-biliary and gastric surgery. He provides diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy.

He divides his time between Public and Private practice and City and Rural practice.

Dr. Worley is currently a Senior Visiting Surgeon at Modbury Hospital, Adelaide, S.A. where he is also the Supervisor of Surgical training and a lecturer in the School of Medicine, Adelaide University.

He is Vice Chairman of the State Committe of the RACS and is also a member of the Court of Examiners for the Fellowship examination of the RACS.

His private practice is conducted from his rooms at Evandale and includes North Eastern, St.Andrew's and Stirling Hospitals. He is also a visiting surgeon to the Barossa Valley and Mt. Barker Health Services.

Dr. Worley initially trained and practiced as a rural GP-Surgeon in the Clare Valley and is currently coming to grips with the fact that he is no longer considered a "Younger Fellow" of the College of Surgeons!

He has been married to Julie for 30 years and they have 3 children.

His other interests include: wine, cooking, music, cycling, athletics and cricket.
