Surgery 2019 returns to Te Papa,
with an enlivening and varied program designed to be pertinent to
all surgeons regardless of their surgical specialty, age and
whether their practice is public or private. We will hear from
senior health officials on the future of surgery and surgical
funding and expectations around consent. An interactive session on
ethical dilemmas, and speakers from various medical disciplines
will prompt an informative and stimulating mix of

Cancellations must be received in writing by the meeting
organiser. Cancellations received by Sunday 30 June 2019 will incur
a $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after this date
will incur a $50.00 cancellation fee and any expenses already
incurred will be deducted.
Professional Development (CPD)
This educational activity has been approved in the RACS CPD
Program. Fellows who participate can claim one point per hour
(maximum of 11 points) in Maintenance of Knowledge and Skills. For
RACS Fellows, participation in this activity will be populated
automatically into your RACS CPD Online.
For non-Fellows, a certificate of attendance will be provided to
delegates post conference.
Please note that the venue is responsible for all catering at
the meeting and RACS does not inspect or control food preparation
areas or attempt to monitor ingredients used.
