Meetings

2017 Annual Scientific Meeting

The Tasmanian Annual Scientific Meeting is to be held at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel, Hobart on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 September 2017. The theme of the meeting is "Surgery in One State, One Health System, Better Outcomes"

This meeting traditionally provides an important forum for surgeons, IMG's, trainees, registrars and medical students alike to showcase their research, academic activity and to discuss wider issues relevant to surgery. Trainees also have the opportunity to present their scientific work as part of the research component of their training.

There will be a Foundation Course for Surgical Educators on Friday 22nd September, along with a dinner on the Friday evening at the venue. Scientific sessions will take place on Saturday 23rd.
