To all those who were successfully selected into Surgical Education and Training (SET) with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), we say congratulations!

Surgical Training is a challenging and rewarding time. The SET program is highly regarded internationally, and continues to improve and evolve each year. To ensure the new Trainees are able to enter into SET will the minimum of confusion, the  RACS Trainees' Association (RACSTA) is delighted to invite you to their annual Conference for New Trainees!

This Conference will be held at RACS Headquarters in Melbourne, on Saturday 11 November 2017, and it has been specifically designed to meet the needs of newly selected SET Trainees. The Conference will feature orientation by College staff, Fellows, and Senior Trainees and will allow for plenty of time to meet and socialise with your new colleagues. Sessions will provide practical tips and tricks for the new Trainee. New Trainees will leave this Conference equipped with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in Surgical Training.

We hope you, as a new Trainee, will consider joining RACSTA in Melbourne to get your training off to a great start!
