The Find a Surgeon directory is a listing of active Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons who meet the requirements of the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and have opted to be on the list. This list excludes retired or inactive Fellows.


Continuing Medical Education (CME) for Fellows Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Approved activities attract CPD points. 

Providers can apply to have their activities approved free of charge.

Activities granted Continuing Medical Education (CME) approval are developed for the RACS Fellows.

Approved activities are provided the "RACS CPD Approved" logo that can be used on promotional material related to the activity. 

Participation in these activities will be populated in Fellows Continuing Professional Development (CPD) portfolio and is a member benefit to our Fellows.

Approved activities appear on the Education Events listing on the RACS Portfolio for all Fellows and are searchable by date, specialty, location and delivery method.

Accreditation of educational courses

Accredited courses will have permission to use the College Accreditation Logo on supporting promotional/marketing materials and will be listed as accredited courses on the College website. Courses accredited for prevocational doctors will also be listed on the JDocs website
Fees apply and are published on the College website.

The College has developed standards and criteria that act as a benchmark for high quality course/activity design, delivery and review, as part of its accreditation process.Refer to the doument below.
