Prof Mark Frydenberg
Overview
I am a urological surgeon, who began practice in 1992 after completing a urologic oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. I look after most aspects of general urology but I do sub-specialise in all major urological cancers especially complex prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers and work as part of multidisciplinary teams both in my private and public practices. I have been the Chairman of the Department of Urology, Monash health since 1997, and an academic member of the Department of Surgery, Monash University since that time. I am an author on more than 100 peer reviewed articles and a recipient of more than 8 million dollars in research grants .
