Find a surgeon

The Find a Surgeon directory is a listing of active Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons who meet the requirements of the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and have opted to be on the list. This list excludes retired or inactive Fellows.

 

Commitments and training

Members of the Faculty of Clinical Examiners are expected to:

  • Agree to abide by the Examiners Charter
  • Complete the Clinical Examiner Training Course (online modules plus 3 hours face-to-face) prior to examining for the first time
  • Examine at a minimum of 1 exam weekend per year. Clinical Examination dates and locations can be viewed here.
  • Have a general familiarity with iPads and/or tablets. Specific training in the RACS tablet marking system will be provided.

How to apply

Fellows from all surgical specialties and all locations in Australia and New Zealand are welcome to apply to become a Clinical Examiner. Please register your interest by:
