The Find a Surgeon directory is a listing of active Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons who meet the requirements of the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and have opted to be on the list. This list excludes retired or inactive Fellows.

What will you learn?

This program is a great opportunity to learn about all the essentials for setting up private practice. The focus is on practicality and experiences provided by fellow surgeons and consultant speakers. Participants will also have the chance to speak to Fellows who have experience in starting up private practice and get tips and advice.

Key learning outcomes

  • Understand issues involved in setting up private practice.
  • Acquire practical strategies and tools for practice operations.
  • Develop a practice framework and improve practice performance.

Target group - Final year Trainees and Fellows from all specialties who are considering setting up private practice will benefit from attending this College activity. Fellows from a variety of disciplines will join with industry representatives and corporate speakers to share their experiences and knowledge.
