Annual Joint Academic Meetings                                                              

Joint meeting of: Section of Academic Surgery (SAS) and the Surgical Research Society (SRS)
Date: 8 - 9 November 2018.
Venue: University of Technology Sydney, Dr Chau Chak Wing Building (CB08),14-18 Ultimo Rd, Ultimo NSW
Open to: Medical students, pre-vocational doctors, SET Trainees, Fellows and anyone with an interest in academic surgery.
Highlights: Invited guest speakers from America, presentation of original research by junior faculty,
travel awards for the best oral presentations.
Professional development: This activity attracts CPD points.

Developing a Career and Skills in Academic Surgery (DCAS) Course

Venue: Bangkok, Thailand
Open to: Medical students, pre-vocational doctors, SET Trainees, Fellows and anyone interested in academic surgery.
Highlights: Outstanding national and international faculty presenting on a range of academic topics.
Professional development: This activity attracts CPD points. This course counts towards one of the four compulsory GSA Trainees' Days.
