The Find a Surgeon directory is a listing of active Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons who meet the requirements of the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and have opted to be on the list. This list excludes retired or inactive Fellows.

 

Indigenous Motif Opt

The RACS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Network is a forum to promote, support and encourage fellowship engagement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Membership is free and open to all Fellows, Trainees and IMGs currently working in or with an interest in Indigenous health in Australia and New Zealand.

Network Aims

  • Link interested Fellows/Trainees/IMGs
  • Encourage the exchange of knowledge, skills and experience
  • Identify, celebrate and learn from our current involvement in Indigenous health in Australia
  • Provide collegiate support for engagement through outreach, research and advocacy work
  • Promote best practice in the surgical care of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Support RACS cultural competency journey
  • Involve the RACS membership in the implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan
  • Contribute to policy and position development and submissions
  • Circulate an eNewsletter
