RACS Māori SET Trainee One Year Scholarship 2020

Maori FlagThis scholarship has been established by the RACS Indigenous Health Committee to support Māori Trainees.


Who can apply?

RACS Surgical Trainees and SET applicants who identify as being Māori.

SET applicants are eligible to apply in anticipation of their acceptance into the SET Program. They must be accepted into the program prior to the commencement of the scholarship.

Conditions

To be eligible an applicant needs to be a member or fulfil the eligibility requirements for membership of Te Ohu Rata o Aotearoa (Te ORA).

This scholarship could be used to cover one or more of the following:

  • SET registration fees
  • SET course fees
  • SET examination fees
  • Research projects
  • Mentoring Programs
  • Travel, accommodation and registration fees to attend conferences
  • Other relevant professional development activities
