Dear colleagues and friends,

Kia tau te rangimarie me te aroha ko a koutou katoa.

(For all of us, hold on to peace and love)

At this tragic time in New Zealand, our thoughts are with the families and friends of the people who have died and those who were injured in Christchurch yesterday.

Many of our Fellows and Trainees are working tirelessly at Christchurch Hospital with the people injured and their families. We also want to acknowledge the efforts of all our medical, nursing and allied health colleagues involved in the immediate and longer term care of the many people who have been so deeply impacted.

We are proud to be a college for New Zealand and Australia. We stand as one in condemning this violence and senseless loss of life.

RACS will provide every support needed at any time for our colleagues.
