Remembrance Day (Australia) and Armistice Centenary (New Zealand) has a special significance in 2018. Sunday, 11 November 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914-18).

At 11am on 11 November this year, Aotearoa New Zealand will also mark the centenary of the armistice that ended the First World War in 1918.

More than 330,000 Australians and 100,000 New Zealanders served overseas. Some 78,000 died, including surgeons and medical staff.  Let us remember their supreme courage and sacrifice.
