The Committee considers that trainees should read widely within and around topics in the Cardiothoracic Surgery curriculum. This should include not only Cardiothoracic Surgery texts, but also relevant material within the specialties of Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.
