ASSET Committee

Overview

The ASSET Committee is a subcommittee of the Prevocational and Skills Education Committee (PSEC). It has direct responsibility for the curriculum and effective organisation of the ASSET course. Committee members and faculty are drawn from the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Objectives

  • to oversee the implementation and continued development of the ASSET course program throughout Australia and New Zealand;
  • to oversee the review of curriculum and materials necessary to the ASSET course program;
  • to maintain overall responsibility for standards of quality, the educational experience and the maintenance of ASSET policies.
