Our heritage & archives

The College of Surgeons was established in 1927, with the first meeting of the College Council held in Dunedin, New Zealand, in February of that year. We have a rich history detailed in books, ANZ Journal of Surgery articles and in a number of documents and symbols that we carefully look after.
