This program is designed to support you with learning about what life was like prior colonisation, and how colonisation, mistreatment through a range of legislation and removal of children has impacted so many. The courses also introduce the holistic health approach and highlights how to support and improve health outcomes. We hope you enjoy the courses and we look forward to hearing your feedback about using them. 

The eLearning approach

These eLearning courses are designed for all Fellows, Trainees, SIMGs and junior doctors to use. They will  provide you a full suite of learning from the first introductory Course 1 to the final, more self-reflective Course 4. Please read all the components of the course including the learning objectives, pre-course information and each module. If you rush through the course you will not get the correct exposure to all the concepts. There are links in the courses to other websites, documents and organisations. We hope these courses start your journey of having a closer affiliation with these groups in the future.

Completing the courses

Each course will take around 10 hours however, these courses are designed to be completed over a 12 month period and have been approved for CPD Category 4 – Reflective Practice. These courses are designed to be completed in small individual modules that take approximately 30 minutes each. They will also provide you with the knowledge and skills to support both the implementation and assessment of the new RACS 10th Competency.
