The Victorian Fellows essay and photography prizes are an opportunity to increase engagement with our members and promote a topic that encourages Fellows to share or capture a moment in their career, their insights or their contribution to surgery.

    2024 Victorian Fellows essay and photography prizes

    In 2024 the Victorian State Committee decided on a single theme for all State awards - Research and Innovation (PDF 99.25KB).

    The theme considers the creation and introduction of new things, ideas or ways of doing something. Our Fellows were encouraged to consider this theme through their own unique lens, whether that be in their practice, their community, or their family.

     

    Victorian Fellows Photography Prize

    We are pleased to congratulate our inaugural recipient of the Victorian Fellows 2024 Photography Prize, Dr David Gyorki and Dr Eyal Mor, and their winning photography submission of "‘Retroperitoneal sarcoma 3D tumour bed". Congratulations!

    Submissions for 2025 will open in the new year.
