The responsibility of the administration of the General Surgery Surgical Education and Training (SET) program of RACS has been delegated to General Surgeons Australia (GSA).

Past offers

In 2017 eighty-five (85)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2018.
In 2018 one hundred & twenty (120)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2019.
In 2019 one hundred & five (105)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2020.
In 2020 eight-eight (88)* trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2021.
In 2021 eighty-three (83)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2022.
In 2022 one hundred & five (105)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2023.
