TUH has recently embarked on a partnership with the Mater Hospital Pimlico regarding Robotic Assisted Surgeries. TUH will also be the 2nd kidney Transplant site for Queensland. About the role: 

The role is to provide a specialist elective and trauma Shoulder and Elbow service, plus contribute to general orthopaedic trauma management. The successful candidate will work closely with our physiotherapy team. The position includes elective operating, general and specialist trauma operating, elective and fracture clinics, teaching of the AOA trainee and other junior doctors, contribution to audit, M&M and departmental research.  

 

About you: 

  • MBBS/equivalent eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency. This will require Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in the specialty of Orthopaedic Surgery, or equivalent recognised qualification.
