A subspecialty interest in reconstructive Urology is desirable.
SCHHS Salary includes:
• Base salary comprising of between $8,062.00 – $10,221.70 p.f.

About you:

About the role
The position is within the General Surgical/ Acute Surgical Unit at Townsville University Hospital. Currently the job involves one week in two covering the Acute Surgical Unit Monday to Friday. This includes supervising the daily handover meeting, ward round and emergency admissions, as well as covering the emergency operating in hours.
The alternate week has opportunities for elective operating and outpatient clinics in general surgery or various subspecialty areas. Experience or interest in Endocrine or Colorectal surgery would be beneficial.

Remuneration package of up to $536,916 p.a., comprising base salary range of $210,332 - $266,677 p.a. • Qualified as a medical practitioner with specialist qualifications and registration, or eligible for registration, as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia in the appropriate discipline.
