In March 2023, Council made some important decisions to support the long-term sustainability of the College. As a result, we are embarking on the development and implementation of a three-year business plan that focuses on building a strong foundation for the future. This review included indefinitely pausing several professional development courses. Although this decision was a tough one, it was made with the sustained future of the College in sharp focus.

We take this opportunity to acknowledge the valuable insight and expertise provided by our faculty in delivering these courses and appreciate their dedication to education and training.  Several of our committed faculty were instrumental in course development, delivery, review and improvement. They are champions of educational best practice and lifelong learning.

Thank you to our faculty for their pro bono contribution, through the years, and their influence and connections made with Fellows. Their dedication in sharing their knowledge and wisdom with colleagues has contributed to the enhancement of the professional standards of the surgical community.
