It was in the middle of her idyllic country childhood that Associate Professor Kerin Fielding decided to become a doctor—particularly a surgeon.
The first woman orthopaedic surgeon in New South Wales, she is only the third female president of RACS.
Her other big passion, other than surgery is baking and she a Paris-trained cordon bleu pastry chef, who runs her own patisserie.
