eLearning resources for the Fellowship examination
The Fellowship examination is primarily an assessment of professional judgement, clinical decision making and medical expertise. It ensures that a candidate is safe and competent to practice unsupervised as a surgeon. The eLearning course available at the link below contains four modules focused on preparation and how the examination is conducted. These units have been prepared to assist International Medical Graduates but contain information useful for all candidates studying for this exam.
Modules 1, 2 and 3 are intended for Fellowship examination candidates and provide information about the exam, how it is managed, some study tips and ideas to assist preparation for the exam. The fourth module is intended for supervisors and surgical teachers who are assisting candidates in their preparation for the exam.
