FRACS branding

The letters FRACS signify that a surgeon’s education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and are consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the College, regulators, health departments and the community.

The FRACS post nominal sends an internationally recognised message to a surgeon’s patients and peers that they have attained the highest standards in surgery and are committed to lifelong learning.
