College Flag
The flag was designed by A.W. Beasley FRACS, the historian of the College, following discussions at the time of the Presidential visit of B.K. Rank to New Zealand. It consists of the shield portion of the Arms, and its proportions are 2:3, a ratio which allows it to fly in all weathers.
The flag was a gift to the College from the New Zealand Fellows, and flew for the first time in 1968, at a meeting of the Heads of the Royal Colleges in Melbourne. It has flown at College occasions in Australia and New Zealand ever since.
