Transparency statement
In line with its values, RACS aspires to demonstrate a high level of ‘Integrity’, and is therefore committed to exercising the highest standards of honesty, transparency and accountability to Members, staff, volunteers, partners, donors and all those impacted by its work.
The RACS Global Health Program requires that RACS engages closely, and shares information openly, with community members and partner organisations in Australia and throughout the Asia-Pacific region in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Global Health-managed programs and projects.
RACS Global Health communications and promotional activities are guided by principles of openness, respect, safety, dignity and authenticity. Global Health program and partner information is shared on the RACS website, through publications, social media, in annual reports and upon request.
RACS Global Health staff regularly responds to enquiries from supporters, donors, stakeholders, media and the general public and readily shares information on the organisation’s programs, activities and finances.
RACS Global Health proactively publishes information, discloses information on request or gives clear reasons for any decision not to disclose (for example, to respect confidentiality or privacy). RACS Global Health’s approach to partner engagement is to work with local program partners in a spirit of mutual respect and trust, informed by partners’ voice, priorities and needs, in line with its Partner Engagement Policy.
