Paediatric Anatomy and Embryology examination structure
Information on the structure of the Paediatric Anatomy and Embryology (PAE) exam.
Written component
The short answer component of the Paediatric Anatomy and Embryology examination consists of one paper of 100 short answer questions. The examination will be one and a half hour duration.
This examination is delivered electronically.
Viva component
Successful candidates in the written component of the Paediatric Anatomy and Embryology examination will be invited to attend the viva examination which will be held each year in August/September in Melbourne and will consist of two vivas of 12.5 minutes duration each.
Full details of the examination location and timing will be supplied to successful candidates following the release of the written component results.
