Research into factors that influence survival
To gain survival information for Australian patients included in the audit database, a data linkage was achieved with the National Death Index at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare in 2008. For information on Aotearoa New Zealand patients, data was linked with the Cancer Registry data and Mortality Collection data at the Aotearoa New Zealand Ministry of Health in 2011.
